Nolensville, Tennessee is located in Williamson County. In 1797 William Nolen settled there and established the community. The town grew quickly and was incorporated in 1838. The area was impacted greatly by the Civil War as several skirmishes were held around the town. The small agricultural community continued to grow but had lost its status as a town and was considered a part of Williamson County. However, as it continued to grow, it was re-incorporated in 1996. Today approximately 15,487 people live in Nolensville.
History lovers will enjoy seeing the many structures from the 1800s that are still used as home and stores. The Waller Funeral Home has been in existence since 1876, The Nolensville Mill is now housing Amish goods, and The Nolensville Co-Op Creamery now houses an antique store. There is another historic house that is a salon, and the Home Place Bed & Breakfast was established in 1820 and is still serving the area today. Besides the historic area of Nolensville, there are some outdoor areas that are worth taking in. The Serenity Salt Cave is a carved-out Himalayan salt cave that is also a wellness center that offers a variety of treatments. The Nolensville Park offers a playground, green space and walking trails and ball fields for the sports lovers. Additional sports can be found at the Osburn Park Soccer Complex. The complex is operated by Williamson County Parks and Recreation. It has four full-size age-specific Bermuda sodded fields
